Nintendo has gone ahead and given explanations on the newest Legend of Zelda game demo. In the demo, you can choose to move the camera around using the control stick on the Nintendo Wii U controller. As well, on the touch screen of the controller, you are able to change the camera angle, giving it a cinematic feel. The entire HUB (the hearts, rupees, item, etc.) are moved to the second screen which is on the Nintendo Wii U controller) which frees up any clutter on the actual TV screen and you can change that with a touch of the button on the second screen, moving things like items and your map onto the TV screen. All of this is possible in real time, so there is no lag.
Part of me hopes that this is released (because it looks awesome), but part of me kinda hopes they decide to go in a different direction with the next Zelda title, pretty much just because a tech demo is meant to show the capabilities of a system. This wasn’t put together for any real reason other than that. Nintendo should consider starting from scratch with their next title, simply so that we don’t have a system tech demo as a foundation. It would be a tad insulting.
