During your playthrough of Skyward Sword, you’ll be collecting many different bottles. These bottles will store most things inside them, like potions, water, and fairies. It’s best to have a lot of them on hand to ensure you can complete the game easier.

This guide will show you how to collect all the Empty Bottles in Skyward Sword.

Empty Bottle #1

This one is easy. Talk to the owner of the Potion Shop and she’ll mention that you need an empty bottle to buy her potions. She’ll give you a free one; isn’t she nice?

Empty Bottle #2

After talking to the Old Lady in the Sealed Temple, she will mention about the chest right next to her. Go to the chest and open it to reveal a bottle full of Revitalizing Potion.

Empty Bottle #3

When you find Kukiel and unlock the Gratitude Crystals Quest, talk to Parrow at the plaza and help find his sister. When you find her and return to Skyloft, talk to him and he’ll give you the third bottle full of Mushroom Spores for his sister. Give it to her and complete that part of the Gratitude Crystal Quest.

Empty Bottle #4

In Fire Sanctuary, go to the room east of the very first Magmanos (the magma hand creature) you fought after you collect the Mogma Mitts. On the ledge next to the west door, dig into the dig spot nearby and move the gate. Once you do, follow the tunnel where there are fruits of water growing. Stab one and stand on a floor switch to open the gate and douse the Magmanos in the room by flinging the fruit off your sword. Go to area that just opened up and you’ll find this inside a chest.

Empty Bottle #5

After hitting Goddess Cube #25, you’ll find the chest containing the final bottle on the island southwest of the Isle of Songs.
