Tingle Statues

After freeing Tingle from his cell on Windfall Island, Tingle will give you a tool called the Tingle tuner. This Tingle Tuner will allow you to contact Tingle to buy some items off him or even get Tingle Bombs. Tingle Bombs are expensive, but are needed to blow up certain areas in order to gain Tingle Statues.

Dragon Tingle Statue: In Dragon Roost Island on the way to getting the boss key, there is a lava pit room with a wooden plank you can use to swing on and seemingly useless platform. Hidden on that platform is a Tingle Statue which you can use a Tingle Bomb on to reveal a hidden chest containing one of the five Tingle Statues.

Forbidden Tingle Statue: In the Forbidden Woods, go to the room where a giant flower is hanging from the ceiling. When you are able to knock it down to the ground with the Boomerang you just acquired in the dungeon, go to the next room. Take out all the Morths on the platforms and take a right. In the next room is another flower hanging from the ceiling leading to a chest. Knock the flower down and be sure to deflect the rock the Octorok shoots out. Blow up the door nearby with a bomb flower and then enter the door. Turn right and use a Tingle Bomb on the platform to reveal a chest that has this statue.

Goddess Tingle Statue: Located in the Tower of the Gods, this Tingle Statue is found in the room that will take Link to the next level of the tower. It is found in room with Beamos statues guarding the area and some flying platforms. Get to the top and look behind and notice a stationary platform that has nothing on it. Get there and drop a Tingle Bomb to reveal yet another chest and Tingle Statue.

Earth Tingle Statue: Located in the Earth Temple, find the massive statue in the Earth Temple where you have to reflect the light off Medli’s instrument and Link’s newly acquired Mirror Shield. After you go down the stairs, you’ll find yourself on a bridge. Get on the bridge; follow it about halfway before turning left. Use the Deku Leaf to float to the platform on that side and you’ll find another bridge. Cross it and drop a Tingle Bomb on that platform to get the fourth Tingle Statue.

Wind Tingle Statue: This one is a pretty easy to get. In the Wind Temple, where Maker was kidnapped by the Floormasters, fall into the pit in the room. Once you do, plant the Tingle Bomb in the center of the room to gain another chest and get the final Tingle Statue.

Your reward for getting all these Tingle statue is five respawning 100 rupees. It doesn’t seem like a lot but they are needed to translate all the Triforce Charts eventually.
