Ghirahim in Super Smash Bros “Universe”?

Rumors are floating around on 4Chan about for the next Super Smash Bros. game being released known by its rumored name of “Super Smash Bros. Universe”. The rumors have a “complete” list of newcomers coming into the game, but whether or not they will be in the game or not is not known for there isn’t any true source to show that this information is correct or true. On the list is one of the antagonists in the recent Zelda game, Skyward Sword, Ghirahim. The remainder of the rumored characters to be in the game are as followed:

King K Rool (Donkey Kong)
Zoroark (Pokemon)
Little Mac (Punch Out)
Saki Amamiya (Sin and Punishment)
King Hippo (Punch Out)
Ridley (Metroid)
Prince Sable (Frogs the Bell Tolls)
Palutena (Kid Icarus)
Professor Layton (Professor Layton)
Megaman (Megaman)
Crystal (Star Fox)
Slime (Dragon Quest)
Shulk (Xenoblade)
Sonic (Sonic)

    Are folks seriously still going on about this crap?

    Kid Icarus Uprising has not released, therefore production for the new Smash hasn’t even started much less planning.

    Besides, I have some serious issues with that roster. Ugh.

    ^ What Muigi said. Sakurai already stated numerous times how he was NOT working on the next Smash game(s) until he knocked out some other personal projects first. And Uprising isn’t even out yet! It’s still way, way, WAY too early to be expecting legit roster leaking now.

    Speaking of which… three 3rd-party characters (Mega Man, Sonic, and to a lesser extent Shulk)? No way. Hell would freeze over first. Again, Sakurai noted how adding 3rd party fighters was a process that could prove more difficult than creating the game itself, due to all the legal BS they have to go through. There’s also some legal problems obtaining K. Rool, what with Rare not being under Nintendo anymore. That’s why we haven’t even seen him around on the battlefield yet.

    …Oh, and about Mega Man, wasn’t he absent from Marvel VS. Capcom 3? What makes Smash 4 so great that he’d be in THERE instead of a freakin’ Capcom-related fighting game?

    Also… Prince Sable? Really?

    Besides, with all the complaining from people like me, we all know Mewtwo will totally be in the next Smash. Seriously, though, this thing’s fake. 4chan likes to screw around with people. And people like to screw around with people.
    Wishful thinking… but still too, too early. Keep your shirt on, Ghirahim. Give it another year or two.
