Link (Rinku)is the protagonist of the The Legend of Zelda series and has appeared in every Legend of Zelda title from Legend of Zelda to Skyward Sword currently. Every reincarnation of Link possesses the "spirit of the hero" and often most of the Links, in one form or another, wield the magical Master Sword or Four Sword (depending on the title).

Each Link appears whenever there is a crisis befalling the kingdom of Hyrule or it's neighbors. He is the protector of Princess Zelda who carried the blood of the Goddess, Hylia. He, along with Zelda, are bound to a never ending curse cast by Demise; both Hylians subjected to fight against dangerous demonic creatures like Ganondorf, Vaati, Malladus and numerous other villains.
